Homoepathy was discovered by a German Physician, Dr. Christian Friedrich Samuel Hahnemann (1755-1843), In the late eighteen century. It is a therapetic systemof medicine premised on the principle,"Similia Similibus Curentur" or 'let likes be treated by likes'. It is a method of treatment for curring the patient by medicines that posses the power of producing similar symptoms in a human being simulating the natural disease, which it can cure in the diseased person, It treates the patients not only through holistic approach but also considers individuaistic characteristics of the person. This concepts of 'Law of Similars' was also enuncaited by Hippocrates and Paracelsus, but Dr. Hahnemann established it on a scientific footing despite the fact that he lived in an age when modern laboratory methods were almost unknown.

About
Central Research Institute of Homoeopathy, Jaipur is working under Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy, Ministry of AYUSH, Govt. of India for carrying out research and treatment in the field of homoeopathic system of medicine. Clinical Research Unit (Homoeopathy) was established in December 1979 in the campus of Dr. M. P. K. Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital, Station Road, Jaipur. During the course of working, the unit was upgraded as Homoeopathic Research Institute for Malaria in 1991 and twelve IPD beds were added. Later in 2005 the institute was upgraded and renamed as Regional Research Institute (Homoeopathy). In 2019 the institute was upgraded to Central Research Institute of Homoeopathy CRI (H) which will be working as multispecialty research center. New campus of CRI (H)is located at Sector 26, Pratap Nagar, Jaipur, Rajasthan, is one of the premier research institutes of Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy, New Delhi under Ministry of AYUSH, Govt. of India It came into existence on7th Feb’ 2019 and was inaugurated by Shri Shripad Naik, Hon’ble Minister of State (IC), Ministry of AYUSH and is presently,NABH (Entry level) and NABL certified .Institute is also affiliated with DSRRAU, Jodhpur for conducting PhD course in Homoeopathy .

To establish as a specialized research institute in dermatology with a state of art laboratory and develop as a resource centre. 2. To further establish scientific evidence base for Homoeopathy in different clinical conditions in dermatology. 3. To disseminate the evidence gathered through publication and CMEs for the benefit of profession. Research studies on Female disorders, Psychiatry and Orthopaedics also shall be undertaken additionally. Vision - Undertaking research in various aspects of Homoeopathy and validating them for clinical application while promoting them for use in mainstream health care. Mission - (i) Provide outstanding patient care services and develop treatment protocols on clinical conditions recommending use by the profession for public benefit.
